Description

This retrospective study determines the value of ultrasound biomicroscopy (UBM) in the assessment of chronic ocular hypotony (IOP 0–8 mmHg) when the underlying pathologic mechanism remains unclear after extensive clinical examination. UBM demonstrated associated pathoanatomy in 95% of cases, often involving ciliary body abnormalities, proving useful in deciding on a course of treatment.
