This review analyzes Central Nervous System (CNS) tumours in neonates, which are rare and differ significantly from those in older children regarding etiology, clinical features, and prognosis. It describes the main characteristics, recent advances in treatment (primarily surgery and chemotherapy, avoiding radiotherapy), and the importance of molecular characterization. The aim is to provide neonatologists with the essential knowledge for early detection, diagnostic evaluation, management, and creation of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
