Description

This study evaluates the efficacy and safety of a new technique of macular buckling in the treatment of myopic macular hole retinal detachment. Twenty-six consecutive cases were included, showing retinal attachment in all cases with improvement of vision. The described technique is considered remarkably accurate, does not require specially designed implants, and is highly recommended for recurrent cases or those with atrophic background and deep posterior staphyloma.
