The only fault I have with this book is that I am not able to access the Instructor’s resources. I have one student who is woefully lacking in understanding the why and how of the human body. This book has been a God send for her when I work with her one on one. She has improved both in classroom and in the clinical setting because of the building block this has provided. My other students use this as a resource when they can’t understand certain structures in relation to other organ systems and the interactions. Some may feel that using an advanced resource such as this for a LPN/LVN program is too advanced for this student population. Trust me; the more these student learn the more engaged and the more they want to learn. Book is great however; not being able to access the Instructor’s resources limits my ability to teach my students.

My medical school bases much other their anatomy course off this book. It really is a useful text for context and clinical relevance. Pleasantly surprised to find that explanations are not overly bogged down by minutia.
