Reviews
We’ve been using this book in my paramedic class along with a few other pathophysiology textbooks/references. I’m halfway through this book and convinced it’s worth its weight in gold. If your concerned about not knowing what are the “important parts” to study in your monstrous pathophysiology texts, this book solves your problems. It’s got what you “need to know ” divided into 30 sections that are each about 12 pages long. And in such a short time the author still manages to tie in the clinical relevance and the current standards in treatment. Very manageable chunks of info whether you’re a student looking to tie it all together or just need a quick review of some pathophys. As a student you’ll still need your other books, but in terms of quantity & quality material covered vs. hours spent studying, this book certainly gives you the most bang for your buck.
