Description

This well-organized text for rapid clinical and board review contains high-yield facts using a question and answer format that covers all subspecialty topics in otolaryngology. It combines clinically relevant facts with hard-to-remember, commonly tested details and presents them in an easy-to-follow layout that allows clinicians to quickly review large amounts of information.

Reviews

I truly love reading this book, which contains both routine and rare cases, both stimulating my thinking. Designed for GI specialty trainees, this book is too advanced for medical residents in internship. But it is very good for senior internal medicine residents doing GI electives. It provides up-to-date knowledge, while encouraging the readers to think about differential diagnoses and management steps. This book is great, because doctors learn better when they are forced to think through cases. Obviously, reading case books is no where near the experience of seeing real patients. But it is hard for a resident to see all these diseases covered in this book during general medicine training. For GI fellows, these cases are probably what they should be comfortable managing, I assume.
