Reviews
The title is well written and easily approachable for medical students, it covers the A to E approach to the management of all emergency medicine cases along with the secondary assessment before covering the commonest and most urgent presentations. The title also covers in brief investigations that should be carried out in the emergency department and most usefully it includes boxes that provide evidence based summaries of recommendations for treatment of conditions. The website that is available with this title provides a useful means for self-assessment with the questions available covering all of the chapters. The only way I feel that this title could have been improved is through the provision of some more diagrams within the text and maybe to have had diagrams/images available for download on the website.
