Reviews

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐Straightforward book. Covers a lot of the basics to prepare you for a rotation, without getting lost in the weeds.

⭐None of us would make it through medic al school without this book. The new version is even better than the old one I used for decades.

⭐The book is well written and straight to the point. Perfect for FP/IM clinical needs. The CD is great and has plenty of information that would otherwise require a lot more time to find.

⭐HelpfulHelps me to understand ophthalmology better.Good illustrations and explanationsCD is also good somewhat graphicOverall pretty good

⭐Very informative book for a person who knew nothing about the human eye.

⭐Pros: easy to read, good and simple illustrations, everything you need without excess fuss (from a medical school perspective, not as a specialist)Cons: Clinical photographs would be appreciated. Not to be depended upon as an exhaustive resource. Fewer funny and memorable images for those used to “Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple”.Would recommend for second year medical education classes as well as boards review.

⭐I bought this for my 13 year old grandson who expressed interest in ophthalmology.

⭐My son is looking into Opthalmology as his career, and I wanted to find something that explains it in layman’s terms not a medical book. This is a great one!

⭐I’m a med student and this was a great quick read before my ophthalmology rotation

⭐Comes with a DVD which is really useful. My teenager was really happy with this book as this is her passion.

⭐Fab book for work

⭐Comprehensive and easy to understand. A bit basic, but covers everything important. Lack of color pages is a shame, but not a big problem.
