Covers basic research in neurobiology and neurochemistry. It provides in-depth, book-length treatment of some of the most important topics in neuroscience including molecular and pharmacological aspects. The main audiences are basic science researchers, graduate students, neuroscientists, neurobiologists, neurochemists, and neurologists.
A comprehensive guide detailing the core principles and clinical practice applications of pharmacotherapy, designed for students and practitioners managing drug therapy.
A detailed study guide providing mnemonic reviews of key infectious agents (bacteria, fungi, viruses, parasites) and major pharmacological drug classes (antimicrobials, autonomic drugs, cardiovascular, endocrine, GI). The material is structured around the visual learning techniques popularized by Sketchy Medical, such as 'The golden staff of Moses' for Staphylococcus aureus.
A comprehensive introductory textbook detailing the principles of pharmacology, covering drug mechanisms, therapeutic applications, and related physiological phenomena.
A detailed catalog derived from Wikipedia listing over 500 therapeutic monoclonal antibodies (mAbs). It defines various antibody fragments and structures (Fab, scFv, BsAb), explains INN nomenclature (ending in -mab), and provides data on target molecules, sources (human, mouse, chimeric), and clinical uses for diseases such as cancer, inflammatory disorders, and hypercholesterolemia. Includes approved, investigational, and withdrawn drugs.
A comprehensive textbook edited by experts, covering the core principles, historical background, and modern applications of drug delivery systems, including controlled drug release technologies.
A medical resource detailing treatment options and comprehensive risk assessment for the use of pharmaceuticals during pregnancy and breastfeeding (lactation).
A systematic approach to the evaluation of patients with suspected drug allergy, particularly those receiving multiple medications simultaneously. The topic details definition, classification systems, including the WAO distinction between immediate and nonimmediate reactions, and underlying immunologic mechanisms.
A dictionary aimed at dentists, detailing the effects of various drugs on patient management in dentistry, covering oro-dental problems caused by medication, concurrent medication interactions, and the effects of drugs on the teeth, oral, and perioral structures.
A comprehensive review and study aid for pharmacology presented in a flashcard format. It covers essential drug information and clinical concepts, intended for medical students and professionals.
A comprehensive guide for parents and teachers addressing Developmental Coordination Disorder (Dyspraxia). It details the definition, causes, characteristics, assessment procedures, and practical intervention strategies for helping children with dyspraxia in school environments.

This volume presents a broad compendium of...
A clinical guide focusing on Evidence-Based Oral Surgery (EBS), designed for the general dental practitioner. The book emphasizes the judicious integration of systematic scientific evidence, clinical expertise, and patient needs as critical components of effective, patient-centered oral healthcare, aligning with the principles of evidence-based dentistry (EBD).
A comprehensive study guide for the Orthopaedic In-Training Examination (OITE), compiling high-yield keys and notes from previous exams (1996-2018). The content is organized by major orthopedic subspecialties including Arthroplasty, Foot & Ankle, Hand, Basic Sciences, Oncology, Pediatric, Shoulder & Elbow, Sport, Spine, and Trauma.
The role of gut microbiome in health, a century-old concept, has been on the center stage of medical research recently. While different body sites, disease conditions, and populations have been targeted, neonatal and early infancy appear to be the most suitable period for such interventions. It is intriguing to note that, unlike traditional use in diarrhea and maintenance of gastrointestinal health, microbiome-mediating therapies have now addressed the most serious medical conditions in young infants such as necrotizing enterocolitis and neonatal sepsis. Unfortunately, almost all new endeavors in this space have been carried out in the Western world leaving behind millions of neonates that can benefit from such manipulations while serving as a large resource for further learning. In this review, an attempt has been made to quantify the global burden of neonatal morbidity and mortality, examples presented on interventions that have failed as a result of drawing from studies conducted in the West, and a case made for manipulating the neonatal gut microbiome to address the biggest killers in early life. A brief comparative analysis has been made to demonstrate the differences in the gut microbiota of North and South and a large clinical trial of synbiotics conducted by our group in a South Asian setting has been presented. Although challenging, the value of conducting such global health research is introduced with an intent to invite medical scientists to engage in well-planned, scientifically robust research endeavors.
Focuses on the evolution of treating cavitated carious lesions. Topics include current techniques for caries excavation, dental caries therapy, and considerations for permanent dental restoration and the use of pit and fissure sealants.
An introduction to the principles of applied fuzzy arithmetic, detailing its methods and practical applications primarily within engineering contexts. The text includes 96 figures and 24 tables for illustration.
A medical atlas detailing the evaluation of the optic nerve head, covering both traditional and newer diagnostic techniques used in the management and diagnosis of glaucoma.
A comprehensive manual detailing the diagnosis and treatment of myofascial pain and dysfunction, specifically focusing on trigger points in the upper half of the body. Includes detailed pictorial indices linking specific muscles to referred pain patterns in the head, neck, torso, shoulder, and arm.
