Rhoades was required required for my physiology course though I did not like it. The authors provided extraneous information that was not necessary for understanding my field, and I preferred using Linda Costanzo’s Physiology text instead. If I needed further information I would at times use Guyton’s or other similar detailed physiology books. Rhoades ranked dead last
