Very clear and concise but it focuses on diagnosis and management, if you need to know more about the pathophysiology you need to read elsewhere such as Impey

Reviews

Good book very helpful. A fair amount of detail but would use as an aid not as a stand alone resource. One minor fault with the book is that the flexicover is glued on upside down, not a problem, I imagine I might get some funny looks when reading this though

Reviews

Review from previous edition “This is invaluable to anyone who is new to the specialty, or who sees occasional rheumatic problems … It is essentially the first concise but readable text outlining how to evaluate commonly presenting rheumatic complaints that I have come across, which as a trainee I found practically very useful. Hence I unreservedly recommend this book to general practitioners, certainly junior doctors training in rheumatology and indeed any physician with an active interest in the specialty.” — Rheumatology

Reviews

This is absolutely completely useful. I’ll probably be using this book for the rest of my life. It’s got emergency information and continuous care info; pediatrics and ob-gyn; common and uncommon diseases, and best of all, it’s written with considerations of low income settings. It’s basically the best book I’ve bought in my medical career, and I carry it with me all the time. I’m trying to memorize it, actually.
