Maria Mercati has done an excellent job of bringing Thai massage to neophytes such as myself. The text is very readable and it tends to put the reader into the proper, relaxed state of mind. The bodywork shown within really works and is not difficult to learn. I just wish for more: more history and more exercises. This is an excellent, inexpensive resource.

The process in the book was awesome, however, it is a large book and should be honored as a paper back. The hard cover will keep things in order but I think the kindle will better fit instead of a giant textbook. But, overall, the materials in the book was great.

Most of the topics include various aspects of diseases including their newer causes and recent mechanisms by insertion of latest information between the lines. Some out-of-date info from the previous version was corrected, and some new figures were added. However, some nice tables and figures from the previous version were also removed. The font size has been reduced significantly, making the text blocks look significantly more monolithic and thus more intimidating to read. It’s still a good reference, but I think the old version was friendlier to the eyes.

This treatment planner is helpful for a new clinician starting out. I used it in my internship. The only bad part is the goals are not measurable. So basically you can get a general idea for a goal and then you will have to reword it to make it measurable.
