⭐Everyone should read this book written by one of the best ophthalmologist in the world Dr Steven L Maskin, MD. I say this, because he cured my dry eye.I wasn’t proactive taking care of my eyes for many, many years until one day I couldn’t keep it opened neither closed, because of the severe dryness. It was to late to reverse the damage of my eyes when I learned about this book, because my eyes were so damaged that required some special surgeries.But anyway, the doctor who has been treating my dry eyes for around 1.5 years wrote this 2nd book and I wanted to purchase it as i did the first one. This book really is helping me to know much better about the anatomy and physiology of the eyes and how to prevent further damage of them.I recommend this book to everyone who is on the screen of their devices for many hours and for months and years. Even I recommend it to the dentists who are so focused on the little working area with that bright head light for hours and hours and months and years and they forget to blink enough and also forget to rest their eyes as I did myself before.This book has many technical words, but The author explains their meanings very well, so anyone can understand. If to read this book is complicated for you, the first book “Reversing Dry Eye Syndrome “ is easier to read and understand. That is my opinion and I did in that order.

⭐Dr. Maskin’s new book, written w/ Natalia Warren, is essential if you suffer with Dry Eye, which can range from painful to debilitatingly so. The extreme difficulty of it is compounded by the general lack of understanding and appreciation of how painful it can be by doctors, friends, and family. But Dr. Maskin really understands. I am thankful to be one of his patients, and I can tell you his passion is helping us recover. He is single-minded in this goal, and employs an ever-increasing range of ways to achieve it, which he shares in this book. “Your Dry Eye Mystery Solved” is a Dry Eye bible, which gives a great understanding of the problem, treatments, and tips for how to manage your life if you are suffering from this. Natalia wrote an incredible chapter about her journey with intractable eye pain and how it was resolved by working with Dr. Maskin. In this book and in his office, you will be met with a compassion and an understanding of this issue that is second to none. And answers. There is real hope!

⭐I’ve been a patient of the author for many years. When you meet Dr. Maskin for the first time, you quickly realize that he is working with a higher and more nuanced level of understanding of severe Dry Eye Disease than other practitioners. This knowledge is on full display in his book, “Your Dry Eye Mystery Solved” where a systematic approach to combatting this disease is now available to the public. Organized and detailed, this is a book that is both a self-help guide for the patient as well as a reference manual for serious ophthalmic professionals who are looking to increase their knowledge and level of care.Finally, there is a comprehensive resource on the market that will help individual sufferers ask the right questions while providing answers at their fingertips. We patients have seen too many doctors just “mail it in” perhaps because of a requirement to treat an excessive number of patients on a daily basis. With the knowledge gained from “Your Dry Eye Mystery Solved” , physicians are now much better equipped to help their patients and their practice.

⭐Can’t recommend highly enough. A must read before you venture to see any dry eye “specialist”, with so many of them being sub-par doctors to say the least, as well as plainly dishonest. This book covers the subject of dry eye honestly and exhaustively (diagnostics, methods, comorbidities, realistic expectations, and so much more). In addition, it proved to be a great tool in getting an immediate good measure of any ophthalmologist you might have to deal with. Dr Maskin (the author) is an amazing specialist, no nonsense here. He cares enormously about his patients and about providing real and lasting relief, a rare trait these days, with so many doctors forgetting and abandoning their Hippocratic Oath, careless about the harm their advice so often imparts.

⭐This is a valuable resource for anyone who is or knows someone who is suffering from dry eyes. From mild to severe dry eye issues one must understand the true pathophysiology of MGD. This author (physician) truly understands the disease more than anyone else in the world. The readers of this book will really understand the benefits of probing. Probing is the only modality to truly halt progression of the disease as well as reverse damage to the oil glands. Hopefully more eye physicians will read this book as well.

⭐My wife has critical dry eye conditions and, unfortunately, we found that this is not something any opthalmologist may solve. In my country it is very difficult to find a specialist in this matter. I read a few books about dry eye and this one is clearly the most complete. Dr Maskin is clearly a leader in MGD but this book covers all relevant issues around dry eye disease.

⭐Another excellent, thorough , detailed book by Dr Maskin.This time an in depth look at the cause of meibomian gland dysfunction , periductal fibrosis , its comorbidities, cofactors that contribute to this often delibitating disease.Real life stories of patients whom were so desperate and unable to function on a daily basis because of their severe dry eye and contemplating taking their own lives , considering Dr Maskin their last hope and he truly was.

⭐Outstanding on so many levels! From the humane tone in addressing patient needs to giving hope to dry eye sufferers to the invaluable cutting-edge research and information for the medical community This book exceeds in all areas.

⭐Helpful, good, book. Offers some hope to sufferers of Meibomium Gland Dysfunction. I was disappointed that the author does not share information on the health risks of eye probing.A Very Good Book, in my opinion. I feel this is a must read for those with Dry Eye or Meibomium Gland Dysfunction. The author shares some very helpful information on treating dry eye and blepharitis, otherwise known as meibomium gland dysfunction, or rosaca.The author of this book makes eye lid gland probing look like the only answer to improving M.G.D. I was disappointed that the author does not share information on the health risks of eye probing. Unfortunately, eye lid probing can be very risky.

⭐Some things are helpful, but I fear it mostly comes down to self promotion.
