Reviews

Amazon recommend this to me after I viewed “100 Tricks to Appear Smart in Meetings”. I was a bit surprised, as they seemed to be totally unrelated titles, but I went into it with an open mind. I’m really glad that I did. It can be a bit difficult to combine the concepts from the two books since the typical corporate meeting room isn’t quite as well equipped as the average radiology lab, but that’s half the fun. Improvisation is one of the best ways to really grasp the material in a practical and tangible way. (I won’t give away all my tricks and tips, but you can do a lot with the spray bottles from the whiteboard cleaner, ethernet cables and some fine-tipped ballpoint pens. Let your imagination be your guide)

Nothing will get you to consensus faster than a quick ad-hoc carotid stenting or any of the wide variety of drain insertions outlined in the text. If you really want to wow your audience, I find a nephrostomy is a great clsoer. When that blood suddenly turns bright yellow, your peers can’t help but be impressed and agree to any proposal that you have on the table (hopefully out of reach of any stray fluids.)
