Description

A retrospective cohort study investigating the association between early-onset Fetal Growth Restriction (FGR) and neurodevelopmental delay in very preterm infants (≀32 weeks’ gestation) at 24 months of corrected age. The study found that FGR infants had a significantly lower Global Development Quotient (GDQ) compared to appropriate for gestational age (AGA) newborns, with significant adverse impact noted in language/communication, eye/hand coordination, and foundation of learning skills.
