Description

This study investigates the prevalence of small subdural collections (SDC) in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) population using head ultrasound. It aims to determine if the use of very high-frequency linear transducers (6–24 MHz) significantly improves the detection rate of SDC compared to lower-frequency transducers, finding that detection is highly dependent on high frequency imaging.
