Description

A study comparing fluorescein angiography (FA) leakage patterns in diabetic macular oedema (DME) with retinal thickness maps obtained using the Retinal Thickness Analyser (RTA) and Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT). The study concluded that FA leakage in the outer ETDRS fields correlated best with central retinal thickness and retinal thickness topography as measured by OCT, suggesting these instruments can be used to identify patients for further examination.
