This guideline updates the 2019 IWGDF recommendations on the diagnosis, prognosis, and management of peripheral artery disease (PAD) in people with diabetes mellitus and a foot ulcer. It addresses diabetes-related foot complications, which are a major cause of morbidity and are strongly implicated in global amputations.
