It is not a textbook on generally critical care and it does not go into pulmonary physiology or other physiology, but that’s not the goal. It’s for the fellow or intensivist who already has a strong background in critical care and wants a sweeping set of answers to the questions we address daily. Excellent review of the literature and practical recommendations when the literature is not clear. Well worth your money.
