This study characterizes the bonding interfaces of a calcium silicate-based restorative material (Biodentine) and CPP/ACP-modified glass ionomer with dentine. It also evaluates the influence of dentine-surface treatment with poly acrylic acid. The findings suggest that calcium silicate-based restorative material has a great affinity for ion exchange and bonds chemically with dentine, allowing it to be applied directly on the dentine surface without pre-treatment.
