I was hoping to get more images that can be used as reference for diagnosis of scalp issues related to hair loss and although there were color photos, I expected more details on healthy vs not healthy and symptoms related to the various disorders. Very expensive and the preview and table of contents didn’t give enough to determine whether to take the dive. I ordered the kindle version…. If I had to do again I would skip this one and look for one that was more comparative and detailed photos to identify when a photo matched the issues I am evaluating. I gave 3 stars because it was informative but not enough detail to make diagnosis based on content delivered.

Bought this for a class some years ago, pretty nice for a detailed integration of physiology/pharmacology, a nice foundation, not ideal for review. I recently opened it for a more detailed explanation in digitalis actions and felt it is wrote in a straightforward fashion for clarification on details – like any other subject it can be a bit less clear on a first look/study. Its a bit heavy (would estimate ~1kg) so not super practical for a lot of traveling. I found the organization system straightforward and easy to use.
