It’s a great book and you definitely need to know what’s on there but it isn’t as high yield as it used to be (for obvious reasons). I like the humor in the book but I know some people could care less for it. The book is lacking an index so it can make searching up things more difficult. There are not a lot of images, mainly text. Because of that, you’ll need to go to the web to find the images. There are some things that are emphasized and may or may not show up, take it with a grain of salt. The binding is alright. With expected heavy use, the binding came come apart. The revised edition will be coming out Oct 2018.

The most efficient method in the diagnosis of skin diseases is the combined validation of clinical and histopathological features. The results of biopsy investigation in isolation don’t always yield answers. But when considered together, the clinical pattern and the histopathology, then diagnosis can become clearer. It’s a book as advertised! This an extremely detailed and in-depth book. Definitely for use as a reference text. I wish I had more time to read it, but being in PA school doesn’t allow for much of anything besides reading everything else.
