Reviews

great review for boards/inservice. More informative and logically organized than others. Has the right amount of info to be useful while not overload. Also nice that each chapter has key clinical points and a few review questions to test comprehension. Large section of pearls to review before exams at the end as well. Weaknesses would be facial plastics section and radiology. Lalwani has a pretty good ENT radiology section.

Love these down and dirty outlines. This book has really helped me in so many ways in school. It helped me in didactic and it’s helping me out in clinical rotations. It doesn’t have every disease I look up but it has quite a few of them and it has helped me with many assignments. Great resource I use it in conjunction with other resource guides and I use it the most out of all of them.

Foot and ankle surgeons, whether their focus is elective reconstruction, trauma, or diabetic foot reconstruction, will find this a very useful and welcome addition to the library shelf. It has few competitors and those that do discuss principles of external fixation (for example, Ilizarov Technique for Complex Foot and Ankle Deformities, Kirienko et al. (Marcel Dekker,
…there are 80 aesthetic and reconstructive oculoplastic videos, 30 of which are new, which makes this a one-of-a-kind video library. What I liked about the videos, especially the new ones, is the high quality, clarity, and details of technique provided by the authors who do the voiceovers themselves. — Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

Great 2 volume set. The gold standard for radiology. Over 10,000 images from Dr. Yochum! I did get both books with my order, I don’t know what happened to the other buyers. It’s a must for any student or anyone in practice.
One of the best textbooks on Hematology. It is well written and has subject matter in detail. Would buy again and will replace with new edition when one is published.
We adopted the Bhagavan text because it is the most comprehensive and authoritative text on the market and is suitable for our students who have already had at least one semester of biochemistry prior to acceptance in medical school…The chapters on genomics and hematology are handled better by Bhagavan than in other books that I’m familiar with. It was probably this coverage in Bhagavan that made it our choice. The hematology section is better than that in most full hematology books.”–Dr. Eugene Allanson, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Georgetown University Medical Center
