Reviews

i’ve always found cases extremely useful for learning how to apply my knowledge and also as a revision tool. This is an easy read, with just enough detail and lots of interesting facts I didn’t come across when I was reading the GI and hepatology CCUs or Davidson’s. I’m a third year medical student and I found it to be quite a light enjoyable read for the train ride back home on the weekends.

Excellent textbook of movement disorders. Much more concise than Jankovic’s ‘Parkinson’s disease and Movement disroders’

Reviews

This is a good and concise book for medical students and residents who are in rheumatology rotation, but it is not comprehensive enough for rheumatology fellows and specialists or for rhuematology subspeciality board preparation.

Reviews

This book is riddled ( or as the author might say “ridiculed”) with typos and errors. I found two in one sentence. For example, page 278 indicates the following: “…..a hyposensitive state can be achieved by repeated PARENTAL ( should be parenteral) injection of the agent in SUBLIMINAL ( should be subclinical) doses.” Aside from the copious errors I am enjoying reading this book and doing the associated questions. I ain’t mad.
