Description

Volume 3 of our serial publication continues to address glaucoma with the same combination of science and speculation. This collection is deliberately eclectic with both theoretical and clinical impact, encouraging speculation into the future while remaining scientifically sound. The closing chapters include a selection of abstracts presented at the 2018 and 2019 Trabecular Meshwork Study Club meetings, a venue for innovative work devoted to anterior segment outflow. It is our hope that the present volume gives the reader a better understanding of the current disease process and opens new directions for the future discoveries in glaucoma.

⭐An enourmous effort was probably needed to compile all the information in the first of 2 volumes, but certainly the most recognized experts in each glaucoma area were recruited for this book. The pictures are of high quality, a must for a disease were the crucial tip for a correct diagnosis and management is in the details. The publisher was also lavish in the full color illustrations in many chapters.A worthwile addition for any ophthalmologist and indispensable for both glaucoma fellows and glaucoma enthusiasts.Volume 2 is oriented to surgical treatment, has a DVD-ROM with many quicktime surgical videos of high quality.Shaarawy had previously published Atlas of Glaucoma Surgery, but this 2-volume set can easily replace previous basic Glaucoma textbooks.

Reviews from Amazon users which were colected at the time this book was published on the website:

⭐For any medical student for plastic surgery resident that needs a quick review or a comprehensive introduction into a certain topic I highly recommend this book. It gives you an understanding of the fundamentals at the core principles of plastic surgery which you need to go further in depth when you open specific books that specifically give you more surgical technique. It is not a comprehensive book in the sense that it will not tell you how to perform surgeries but it will set your fundamental knowledge that will allow you to build in the coming years. This is an excellent starting point for a plastic surgery resident even though a lot of people do not think that it provides enough detail but it’s a quick read and makes a lot of sense you can read a chapter in afternoon or night easily without getting bogged down by extensive details that you would get with more detailed book

⭐Good coverage of the topics. Simple to understand.Illustrations and pictures do not come out well on kindle

⭐Excellent book that gives a broad overview of the field of plastic surgery with excellent diagrams and charts to explain topics.

⭐Topic list is comprehensive, though the depth of discussion can be a bit rudimentary. Its readable and provides a good overview. More in depth reading can be done from the references if further study is needed.

⭐Great reference textbook. Arrived as described.

⭐Good for basics

⭐It has nothing useful written inside !!!

⭐Excellent

⭐Nuova versione fatta molto bene. Per me il libro su cui studiare in specializzazione integrando con vari articoli facilmente reperibili.

⭐A must have for any plastic surgery student or teacher, regardless of their nationality. Best used as an exhaustive catalogue of clinically important topics and basic principles of Plastic surgery and an efficient yet compact companion for examination review. Not the real reference book for studying any particular topic or operative technique in extensive details, rather, a book for covering a lot of general topics and related protocol in a quick and efficient way.

⭐Excelent and superfast service, to Slovakia, very happy

⭐Great for medical students

⭐Brand new copy in shrink wrap. Quick shipping. I actually really like this book. good compliment with my lecture material. Glad I bought it new because the online student consult code that comes with it is awesome! I use it to view the book on my ipad while at school because the actual book itself is heavy. The online code also comes with quizzes and gives you different ways to try and help understand the material. Another recent bonus I found was that Embryology material come only with the online consult, as there is pretty much none in the hard copy book itself. That alone was worth the extra money to get a brand new copy!

⭐An absolute treasure for studying during my anatomy and embryology class. It is light on the embryology so do not expect too much for that. However, for anatomy, it makes relationships very clear and has excellent illustrations and photos of structures. The book is paperback with a nice shiny, silver “Gray’s” on the front. Highly recommended for medical students and the like.

⭐I believe this is the best pictorial explanation of anatomy I have ever come across. I never compared the text of Gray’s Anatomy to Clinically Oriented Anatomy but pictures are bigger and much much clearer in this book compared to COA. I believe to use as a reference book for the practice of medicine, as a physician, this is a great book. I apologize that i am not able to evaluate this book from view point of preparation of exams.

⭐Anatomy is best learned with using questions in addition to the book. Gray’s questions are needed in addition to this text.

⭐Learn all you need for anatomy in this easy to read well laid out book. Each chapter starts with an overview of whats covered (ie. just the basics) and then proceeds in a compartmental fashion through the limb or system you are studying. The language is clear, lots of colour illustrations and summary tables. In addition there are clinical pearls. Really well written and easy to understand!

⭐Bought this book used for OT school. It is brand new, no writing, no scratches, or tears. If I could have bought all of my books from this seller I would have!

⭐It was a great book but had to return it back because my college had changed the textbook.

⭐Grandson said this was a good book

⭐Love it! The images are great and the text helps understand the concepts much better. I recommend this book greatly.

⭐Great Anatomy Book, my bible as a PhysioTherapist studentI do not need all the information it contains (e.g. clinical cases for surgeons), but it is still my major reference to study anatomyVery clear drawings, explanations, pictures for surface anatomy… it seems pretty exhaustive

⭐Excellent
