⭐Very challenging questions. I’m using it to study for NBEO pt.1 but I haven’t taken it yet. Many questions in the general pharm section (about 200q) have drugs that are not on the NBEO outline. It is probably more of a review of everything covered in optometry school, rather than being specific to boards material. Good, high-level questions for disease, neuro, and ocular pharm. More difficult than KMK and Optoprep questions. Probably harder than boards questions, but I wouldn’t know yet.

⭐Incredibly helpful manual. Dense enough to learn from, but concise enough to quick-reference.

⭐Ridiculous. Written by optometrist with no medical school or surgical training and physicians looking for optom referrals. Don’t waste your money.

⭐Very informative book. Highly recommend.

⭐Marguerite Macdonald contributed to this book and she was the first doctor to ever perform refractive laser on a living eye!

⭐Excellent resource!

⭐This is an excellent handbook with comprehensive research. A strong collaboration from ODs and MDs
