I’m new to Correctional Psychiatry as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Neither my graduate nor my undergraduate programs included any information on working in this field. This book bridges the gap for me, providing both historical context and current evidence-based practice and real-world knowledge.

There are a few books that you’re told to get for your medical degree: Davidson’s, Kumar and Clarke, a BNF, pathophysiology of heart disease, etc. I would rate this right up there with them! It’s a superb book.

This is a really good, convenient way to study anatomy when you’re on the go. I study these flash cards on the bus, while waiting in line at the pharmacy, everywhere. I hate anatomy an am not a visual person whatsoever so I need all the help I can get. The best part about these cards is that they have the nerve supply on the back for each muscle, and related clinical correlations, so it’s a great study tool.
